Elon’s Mind-Control Tech Heads to British Clinics |
Mind over matter is going mainstream.
Elon Musk’s Neuralink brain chip is expanding its clinical trials to the United Kingdom, inviting volunteers with neurological conditions to test its brain-computer interface (BCI). This chip lets users control computers, smartphones, or even robotic limbs with nothing but their thoughts. |

Neuralink made headlines in early 2024 after successfully implanting its brain chip in its first human patient. Now, UK residents ages 22 and older who’ve lost the use of both hands due to conditions like ALS or spinal cord injuries can apply to join the next phase of testing.
Beyond helping people with paralysis, Musk has suggested that BCI technology could one day address conditions like blindness, hearing and speech loss, insomnia, and other neurological disorders. Why it matters: If successful, Neuralink could change how we interact with machines. For those with neurological disorders, it offers new independence. And for tech, it signals that brain-computer interfaces are evolving into real-world tools. |

NVIDIA in Hot Water as China Investigates H20 Chips for ‘Backdoor Security’ |
Custom silicon, custom suspicion.
NVIDIA’s tailor-made AI chips for China are under the microscope. Beijing regulators have launched an investigation into the NVIDIA H20 chip, alleging that the silicon may contain “backdoor security” risks that could compromise many of its users. |

China’s Cyberspace Administration is demanding technical disclosures from NVIDIA to show whether the chips could secretly track users’ locations or be disabled remotely. While NVIDIA spokesperson Sarah Weinstein has denied these claims, the probe could jeopardize NVIDIA’s foothold in the Chinese market—especially as Huawei’s Ascend 920 chip picks up serious momentum as a homegrown alternative. |

Once installed, PlayPraetor enables threat actors to harvest banking credentials, exfiltrate user data, and in the worst cases, take full remote control of devices. So far, infections have been reported across Portugal, Spain, France, Morocco, Peru, and Hong Kong. Our tip: Only install apps from the official Google Play application. |
GenAI Joins the Dark Side: CrowdStrike Flags AI-Enhanced Attacks |
CrowdStrike’s 2025 Threat Hunting Report warns that threat actors are now using generative AI to turboboost cyberattacks at scale.
According to the report, criminal groups are leveraging GenAI to supercharge social engineering and make it easier for less-skilled attackers to launch attacks. Among the tactics flagged were AI-generated resumes, deepfaked interviews, and auto-completed technical tasks under false identities.
